The location was perfect, with designated footpaths close by, ideal for exploring the stunning surroundings. the house itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a large fridge freezer and a good selection of DVDs, games, and books for entertainment. We especially enjoyed the private car parking and the small grassy area opposite the house, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. the highlight of our stay was the nearby Notley Arms public house, where we sampled delicious locally sourced foods and Somerset's finest ales, beers, and ciders. the friendly neighbors we met at the pub only added to the welcoming atmosphere of the village. Overall, the Old Malthouse was the ideal retreat for our small family, offering comfort, convenience, and a taste of the charming English countryside. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem in one of the most beautiful regions of the British Isles.
